Second Annual E-Recycling/Paper Shredding Event
The St. Marys EarthKeepers and the Tribune & Georgian announce this second Annual Event scheduled for Saturday, January 14th from 10-4 pm. Bring your old computers, cables, printers, etc. to the Tribune & Georgian parking lot (206 Osborne Street) to be recycled. The Team from Sentry Data Management will also be on hand to assist with shredding needs.

Film Screening
Meet the stars and co-writers of "About Fifty" during a screening on Wednesday, January 18 at 7:30 pm at The Kingsbay Movie Theater. "About Fifty" was an official selection of the 2011 Fernandina Beach International Film Festival in November. Dancing with I Live
I Live Center of the Arts, (1001 Osborne Road), is calling all couples for a night of fun and excitement on January 28th at 7 pm. Registration closes January 16th. Extra charge for late registration. Olde Towne Gallery opens the New Year with a budding new artist. Twelve-year-old Max Rogers is a scrapart welder creating junkyard scrap into sculptures that are humorous and unusual. His work and the work of many other local artists can be seen daily at the gallery next to Cedar Oak Cafe in downtown St. Marys from 10 to 5 pm.

The St. Downtown Development Authority (DDA) unveils their new Facade Grant program. This program is available for businesses located in the DDA boundaries and is designed to encourage the renovation and rehabilitation of commercial structures within the DDA boundaries.
