 | WIKA LS-10 + WIKA LevelGuard = RESULTS |  The LS-10 liquid level transmitter is a designed for economical and reliable performance in a wide variety of level measurement applications. It provides a signal output of 4-20 mA and an accuracy of 0.25% of span. Standard stocked pressure ranges are assembled with the required cable length in Lawrenceville, Ga., for fast delivery.
The transmitter's rugged design makes it suitable for environments associated with level measurement, water and wastewater treatment, well depth measurement and offshore water depth measurement.

| The WIKA LS-10 & LevelGuard: Waste Water Lift Stations |
 Most lift stations have floats for level control
- Pumps are activated by level
- Overflow is a major issue when floats get stuck with grease and fat. Some lift stations are so vulnerable they have a level sensor with floats as a backup.
- Storm water lift stations have large influxes of turbulent water. Floats do not cope well, so level sensors are used with float systems as backup.
- Many municipalities require intrinsic safety because of the possibility of methane
- The vent tube is protected by a desiccant filter that is often added to the system.

 The WIKA TRONIC HP-2 pressure transducer is designed for superior extremely high pressure applications up to 225,000 psi or 15,000 bar. The HP-2 provides a very high long-term stability and excellent accuracy.
With the HP-2, the user gets precise results at extremely high pressures and a simultaneous reduction in running costs. Because of its superior long-term stability, the typically short calibration cycles for high pressure ranges are stretched. This results in reduced downtime of the plant. The high load cycle stability ensures an extended service life of the unit.

 The WIKA HP-2 pressure transducer is designed for superior maximum pressure applications up to 225,000 psi (15,000 bar). The HP-2 provides high long-term stability and excellent accuracy. The HP-2 provides precise results even at the highest pressures, but also gets a simultaneous reduction in running costs. Because of the superior long-term stability, the usually short calibration cycles for high pressure ranges are stretched, and the downtime of the plant is reduced accordingly. The high load cycle stability ensures a very long service life of the unit.

 | Pressure Transmitter Design and Protection from Moisture and Particulate Ingress | |
Moisture and particle entry can have a major impact on the function and longevity of pressure transmitters. Environments can range from "condensing" moisture to wash-down with water under pressure, to total, permanent submersion. WIKA manufactures a wide range of transmitters to meet specific protection requirements.
The degree of protection of an enclosure from environmental elements is defined by two types of enclosure classification rating systems. One is the NEMA rating (National Electronic Manufacturers Association). The other is the IP system (Ingress Protection), which is commonly used in Europe and increasingly used in the U.S. These systems define protection from solids and liquids entering an enclosure. The two systems use different test parameters, therefore they are not directly comparable.
