On the GO!
GO InterNational
October 28
Greetings!

The GO Institute for InterNational Leadership is a program arm of GO InterNational to reach and train the next generation of Christian leaders. We accomplish this through internship programs that give students opportunities to serve overseas or here at our US headquarters. Since the program began in 2007, we've had more than twenty students complete internships. They've come from a number of different schools including Asbury, Samford, Geneva, Taylor, Iowa State and East Tennessee State. They have served in roles as varied as translating and editing bible studies in Spanish, writing news stories and articles about the ministry, construction projects, office administration and fighting human trafficking. I'd like to introduce you to three of our Institute graduates and share where the Lord has led them since their completion of the GO Institute.

Evan Slee

Evan Slee CombatEvan spent much of his junior and senior years of college as a GO Intern and helped with a number of administrative projects in the GO office. He also traveled to Nicaragua to serve the poor and share the gospel on a GO mission team. After graduation he married his high school sweetheart and joined the US Army. He is serving in Afghanistan as an officer. Please pray for Evan as he serves our country and is a Christian witness to the soldiers he commands.
Brooke Lombardi

Brooke began to hear about the brooke tragedy of human trafficking while still in college. As she researched this problem she realized it was a huge international issue. Working as an intern with GO, she helped raise awareness among our staff and constituents. Ultimately the Lord led her to Thailand, one of the hubs of the modern slave trade, where she is working to help women and children who have been rescued from slavery. Please pray for Brooke in this important ministry.

John Graham

john grahamJohn Graham is an architecture student at Iowa State University. He felt that God was calling him to step out in faith and to see what the Lord was doing around the world. He served in the GO office this past summer and then spent several weeks in Colombia with a GO team and a GO international partner. He says the experience has given him a passion for the Great Commission like he never had before and he is excited about where the Lord may lead him next. Please pray for John as he finishes his studies and follows the Lord's leading.

The GO Institute is an exciting program that benefits the students who participate and helps this ministry as well. Please consider a gift to support the GO Institute. Raising up the next generation of leaders is one of the best investments you could make! Thank you!

Sincerely,

Bert Jones
