Greetings!
For those of you observing the Jewish New Year next week - and for those of you who aren't - I wanted to take a moment to say thank you again for all of your support over the past year and wish you good health and much joy over the year to come.
I am currently on hiatus from playing and it is for the best reason possible - I am expecting a baby this fall. My prayer is that she has a safe arrival. For all of you expecting babies, making changes, dreaming dreams, scheming schemes, anticipating miracles of all sorts, awaiting the messiah,.... I pray that everything you are working toward has a safe arrival this year as well.
With love and gratitude, Julie
ps - Here is a new song to keep the music alive.
Morning Comes Again Morning comes again and I can feel your sleeping breath The warmth under the blanket and the rising of your chest Morning comes again and as I rise upon the floor The weight inside my heart tries to pull me down once more
But it comes and goes. Yeah, it comes and goes The rhythm of this heart beats in ways I do not know It comes and goes I guess there's some big plan I don't understand
Five years later here we are and nothing's quite the same Five years later we both know it wasn't just a game Now we are looking back at who we have become I'm not bitter, I'm just scared and I'm not the only one
Cause we had to choose. Yeah, we had to choose We knew we would not win and we knew that we would lose We had to choose and now we pay the cost Cause, guess what? We lost.
Still, morning comes again upon the tired and the poor The wounded and the helpless, those at peace and those at war Morning comes again and I can feel the east wind blow Hear the Earth awakening, singing songs I did not know
Cause it comes again, yeah it always comes again In the darkest hour black will fade to pink and then It comes again, at least that's what I've found Thirty-five times around
So take my hand and hold me as we see the next years through The joyful and the hard times, please keep me next to you Cause I'm not sure I'll ever heal and who knows if I should But I will say before the Lord we did the best we could
Cause we're human beings. Yeah that is all we are Broken down and humbled like and old flat railroad car We're human beings Why did you ask for more when that is all we are?
Morning comes again and I can feel your sleeping breath The warmth under the blanket and the rising of your chest
