The Damn Salon is an upscale natural hair salon celebrating and catering to naturally textured hair. We encourage styling without the use of heat or chemicals, which not only damage hair, but are harmful to the body and the environment. We do not believe in fitting a standard of beauty that may contradict one's natural beauty. We treat each client like the only client in the history and future of The Damn Salon by identifying their unique beauty and creating customised styles to suit their face, bone structure and lifestyle. We are not your everyday salon.

The Damn Salon began with an idea and one style: City Twists, innovated by Mushiya, Founder and Creative Director of The Damn Salon, and a chair in her Kitchen. Trademarked and owned by the Damn Salon, the signature style City Twists, marks a turning point in the history of the "natural hair movement". Most salons pull from within a 10 mile radius of their location. Our clients travel from as far as Alaska, Germany, and the US Virgin Islands. Our ability to prompt clients to travel thousands of miles to be "Damned", is a direct reflection of our competitive edge, quality customer service and incomparable art.

It began in a kitchen. Now The Damn Salon has two locations, Atlanta and Charlotte, a line of Natural Hair Care Products, an online boutique, and 'A Taste of Damn', our Touring Division. We travel the country providing signature styles to clients waitlisted for months for their opportunity to be Damned. The Damn Salon is a sought after presence at hair shows and events nationwide. We have been featured in national magazines such as Ebony, Upscale, Sophisticated Black Hair, and a natural hair documentary being released Fall 2012. The Damn Salon runway presentations garner international notoriety. We scout and train models, execute choreography and creative direction for many fashion events.
