THE SHADES OF THE PERFECT GREEN...

The Furniture Soup recognizes how vitally important it is to be good stewards of our planet.  We are committed to treating our Earth better through responsible business and manufacturing practices.  We hope you join us on our mission to become as Green as possible.

LIGHT GREEN
Recycling: Collecting suitable materials to recycle and then transforming them into functional commodities is an easy way to start.  Did you know that plastic soda bottles can become decorative throw rugs, or that recycled carpet tile can be reincarnated into...recycled carpet tile?

MEDIUM GREEN
Remanufactured or refurbished: Remanufacturing and refurbishing materials to maintain their original utility is one step better.  The object is revamped, repainted, resurfaced, rebuilt, redone, or reutilized in better condition than before.  It's sort of like getting a new car by washing your old one.  You gain a new appreciation for what you have, and save a bundle of money to boot!

DARK GREEN
Reuse: The process that uses the least amount of energy is to simply reuse a product as is.  Thus, a "previously-enjoyed" product is the greenest of greens.  "Previously-owned" office furniture goes through no process to get to you, other than the energy expended to deliver it to your door.

Note: LEEDS acknowledges pre-owned furniture as a points winner, so check with a LEEDS professional for certification requirements.

At the Soup, we can help you find the perfect inventory and more products to fit your office space needs.
