Technical Tip
Question: Are you having issues with filters sticking to your aluminum dish after drying?
Answer: Make sure to rinse the filter with three successive rounds of DI water after the sample has been filtered. Allow the filter to dry completely between each addition. Samples with high dissolved solids may require an additional rinse. This will decrease the amount of material on the bottom of the filter (not considered to be solids) causing adhesion to the pan.
