Greetings! 
The NECTAR Foundation is known for its high quality educational content for math, language arts and science. Teachers have often asked us for educational games to help students review. In this issue of our newsletter, we are pleased to introduce two new educational games: Quiz Master and Pyramid Master. These fun games can be used to prepare students for assessments in any subject.

Pyramid Master and Quiz Master

Pyramid Master and Quiz Master, multiple choice games, are a fun way to review. The goal in Pyramid Master is to win all the pyramid's blocks and be declared the Pyramid Master. In Quiz Master students answer questions from categories to collect points. Games covering specific curriculum may be purchased or you can create your own questions using the Pyramid Master or the Quiz Master Editor.

Quiz Master can be played with multi players or in teams.

Improve Your Math Results with
Math Strategies Junior
In Math Strategies Junior, students and teachers explore and discover relationships and strategies to understand and solve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems through 27 open-ended learning explorations. These inquiry-based activities are ideal for whole class or small group instruction using whiteboards. They make use of a variety of mathematical models such as 10-frames, base 10 materials (cubes, rods and grids), open number lines and hundred charts. We recommend you read the Teacher Notes within the activity to help get you started.
