Cognex Releases In-Sight Explorer 4.6

 

In-Sight Explorer 4.6 now includes a way to automatically test your inspection system.

 

In-Sight Explorer 4.6 TestRun is a New Automatic Test, Optimization and Verification System for In-Sight Vision Applications. TestRun gives users increased confidence in the validity of their vision inspection results. Now, users can ensure that program changes don't break other parameters by quickly checking against the "baseline" configuration. It also minimizes bad results by easily checking that the vision hardware is performing properly.

  • TestRunAllows machine operators to easily and automatically test the vision system and verify that it is functioning correctly.
  • Helps application designers demonstrate that the vision system meets the application criteria.
  • Assist quality managers to identify "borderline" inspections and to refine pass/fail criteria

Industrial control processes can now enjoy full PLC functionality with a larger than ever 12.1", 65k color-touchscreen.

The Vision 1210 Controller is a perfect fit for the food industry- with its IP66 rating, this unit is ideal wherever spray/wipe down Vision 1210applications apply. A wide variety of on board I/O options can be added by simply snapping a module onto the back of the PLC.

With additional expansion modules allowing up to 1024 I/O, these configurations include digital and analog inputs and outputs, high-speed I/O, PT100/Thermocouple capabilities, and weight measurement.
 

 

Close-range RFID interrogator


Powerful and adaptable New from SICK, the RFH620 High Frequency (HF) RFID read/write

 is RFH620ideal for close-range, high frequency applications. It is a fully integrated proximity interrogator for use with ISO15693 compliant transponders in applications with scanning distances of up to 160 mm (6.3 in).

 

The RFH620 provides a controller, antenna, and communications options in a single, industrialized IP 67 package. The on-board Ethernet version supports TCP/IP and EtherNet/IP (for ControlLogix PLC family) communications protocols "out-of-the-box," with nothing else to buy.
