Dear Greetings!
Over the last several months, we as a group have gone through many changes. At the beginning of the year, it was my pleasure to take on the task of overseeing these changes.
We have now settled in on a fantastic Executive director. We have formed many new committees and bolstered some old ones. We have created exciting new networking events and have worked on bringing in wonderful speakers. We have done all this in the name of making your business our business.
It has been an honor to lead this effort. Now that we are at a place where I feel comfortable the chamber will flourish, it is time I take my leave and concentrate on my own business. It was always the plan for me to be a short-timer then move on and let someone else take the helm into the future.
The chamber will be electing a new chairperson soon and will be sending that communication out to you. The new chairperson as well as the chamber board has my full support and I wish all of you well.
Thanks again for the opportunity to serve you all.
Sincerely,
Jim Long |
