Pittsburgh, PA, September 15 - The Pittcon Registration Committee is pleased to announce that conferee advanced registration is now open for Pittcon 2010, which will be held February 28 - March 5, 2010, in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Conferees registering before February 1, 2010, will save 50% on the registration fee. The low priced advance discount price of $95 includes access to the technical presentations, the Conferee Networking Sessions, Plenary Lecture, Employment Bureau services, and the exposition floor for Conference Week. The registration fee will be waived for conferees who take three or more Short Courses.
As a way of saying thank you to all who attend Pittcon 2010, also included in this year's registration fee, will be one complimentary ticket to "Pittcon Night at Universal Studios®," on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Shuttle service from the hall to the park will be provided free of charge. The Pittcon 2010 Registration Chairman Susan Zawacky commented, "In 2009, we implemented several new "green" procedures throughout the event. In an effort to increase these green initiatives, this is the first year that registration badges will not be mailed, but will be available on site for pick up in the Registration Booth in the OCCC, West Building." She added, "Our registration company, ITN International, will also be providing recycling bins where conferees can deposit their badges at the end of the conference."
