| A very unexpected circumstance |
Greetings!
Sometime between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, my computer stopped working properly and the program I use to create and publish the Quest Maker pages to the Your Next Quest website disappeared.
A very unexpected circumstance! I have decided to approach this with a Zen-like state of mind and the mantra "It will all work out." When you receive the January issue of Your Next Quest Chronicles, I know you will enjoy meeting Theresa Jussila of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Instead, I would like to share a prayer with you that speaks to my soul every year at this time. As one year ends and another begins, may this prayer also speak to you.

I salute you!
There is nothing I can give you which you have not; but there is much, that while I cannot give you, you can take.
No heaven can come to us unless our hearts find rest in it today.
Take heaven.
No peace lies in the future which is not hidden in this present instant.
Take peace.
The gloom of the world is but a shadow; behind it, yet, within our reach, is joy.
Take joy.
And so, at this Christmas time, I greet you, with the prayer that for you, now and forever, the day breaks and the shadows flee away.
