In January 2011, a Border Collie was reported to have learned 1,022 words and acts consequently to human citation of those words.

 

The Border Collie is often cited as the most intelligent of all dogs. A herding dog breed developed in the Anglo-Scottish border region for herding livestock, especially sheep, it is the most widespread of the collie breeds.

At the 2012 PartnerWorld Conference in New Orleans, Ginni Rometty, President and Chief Executive Officer of IBM, highlighted BrightStar Partners' solution delivered to the Cincinnati Zoo in her keynote speech. The presentation focused on how the success was fueled from the synergy of BrightStar Partners' delivery and executive sponsorship at the Zoo, commenting that the "Zoo Story" was a recipe for others to follow to achieve rapid ROI and value from Business Analytics implementations. OpenDJ LDAP WITH COGNOS 10 BrightStar and Tag_Clear

What is OpenDJ? OpenDJ is an open source LDAP with striking similarities to Sun One Directory Server 5.2. There are a number of benefits to OpenDJ including: high performance, highly available, secure directory server, built-in data replication, client tools, and an LDAP SDK. OpenDJ was architected on modules that are 100% Java based and it does require that you are running Java 1.6. OpenDJ is simple to configure for IBM Cognos.
