G'day Everyone,
Hopefully you all had a great holiday period and are all set to get back into it for 2011 because we are certainly ready and raring to have a huge year!!!
Let's get straight into it - we have already confirmed plenty of schools throughout the US for the first six months of the year, and have heaps more on the proposed schedule for the remainder of 2011. Click here to view all of the locations we will visit this year, plus we may end up adding a few extra schools as the year progresses. It's going to be huge!!!
One of the highlights of the schedule for me will be the opportunity to conduct a combined school in northern California on Feb 5/6 with my great mate and former fierce competitor on the race track, Brian Garrahan. Brian operates the very successful and highly regarded G Brothers Racing University and every time I head to Nor Cal we try to meet up and throw down some hot laps just like the glory days. This upcoming school is going to be a bloody ripper and is already filling up quick!

 | DirtWise "HardCore" Advanced Schools
| We will be conducting the first of our new DirtWise "HardCore" Advanced level Riding schools here in the USA on March 10/11 (Thur/Fri) at the excellent Rivers Edge venue, in beautiful south central Virginia. This school is going to be excellent preparation for any of our northern based friends who are heading down to Georgia for Round 2 of the GNCC series - this school will be just the thing to get you fine tuned for a magnificent result at that race. Click here to check out our "HardCore Training" web page which will give you the lowdown on how we will be able to get you finishing higher up the leader board and let you reach your full potential. These new "HardCore" schools will be exciting, and we will be conducting more of them at select locations across the nation.
As a side note, the great guys at the Rivers Edge venue will actually be conducting an Extreme race there real soon, on Jan 23. This looks like it will an awesome test of man and machine against some very challenging trails. Whether you go and ride it or just go to spectate you will be guaranteed of a killer day of action and excitement! Check out the info here.

| " Wise Up" with Dirt Rider Magazine | Some or many of you may have seen the stellar write up our DirtWise Riding school got in the latest issue (Feb 2011) of Dirt Rider magazine, the largest selling dirtbike mag in the world. We received a full 5 pages of sensational coverage and are stoked the guys from DR had a bonza time at the school they attended. They attended the school we did at the Big Sky Resort in conjunction with the Big Sky National Hare Scramble. Unfortunately our 2011 schedule won't allow us to hit the Big Sky race weekend again but we have some tentatively planned schools in the following states - Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah. We haven't finalized the venues for these proposed schools so if any of you out there have a suggestion for an appropriate venue please shoot us an email to dirtwise@shanewatts.com.

Well, that wraps things up for now. We've got a very busy year ahead of us, as we will also be filming, editing, and releasing Volumes #3 and #4 in the DirtWise Advanced Instructional DVD series. These next DVDs will be available for purchase in early Oct, 2011. In just a few days I'll be boarding the big jet plane for a trip to Oz to conduct three sold-out DirtWise schools and to film the first segments for these new DVDs.
Hopefully we'll get to see you all out roosting on the trails during 2011, or at a DirtWise school whether you are a new or returning student. And if you are any kind of a mate to you friends please be sure to pass the above info on to any of your riding buddies or fellow club members who might be interested in a valued weekend of riding, heaps of fun, and excellent instruction to help fast track your skills improvement!
