G'day Everyone, It has been another great month for the DirtWise Academy of Offroad Riding schools. Since our last Newsletter we have conducted schools in perfects conditions in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and New Jersey. This weekend it's off to Northern California for another school with a full number of students. Great times! I have also been able to attend a few races during this time with excellent finishes in a National Hare and Hound race, a National Enduro, a Texas regional race, and a GNCC race. As of last weekend I have now started using the dB SNORKEL which a noise reducing product to help keep my bike quieter. This is an issue that I feel very strongly about because of all the land closure issues we are currently seeing, therefore I'm trying to do my part to help as I would like to have somewhere to ride my KTM in the future. As many of you already know, our family is the Ambassador Family for
the 2010 March for Babies event in Hickory, NC. My son Rionn was born with a cleft palate and has had
numerous other serious health issues. Click here to read Rionn's story.
"The March of Dimes is a cause that we feel
very strongly about, and are proud to be associated with their fundraising
efforts. Although Rionn has
had a tough go of it, we know we are fortunate because so many families have it
far worse. This is a great way for
our family to let other families and individuals know our story, so that we
might be able to prevent another baby from experiencing the pain and stress
that our family and many others have."
