As usual, things have been going off the hook around here at the Dirt Wise headquarters, especailly with the launch of my wife's "oh so cute!" (just had to put that) infant and toddler casual clothing line
called DirtBaby. We had a great response to it so far not only through the
www.dirtbaby.com website but also by the sales generated at the Outdoor National Motocross races that the product was available at.
It's the perfect gift for that loved new born baby or special little
person in your life. More styles will be available shortly.
August and September were huge months for our schools with the seven schools we conducted all essentially being sold out. Thanks heaps to those who attended these schools, and all of our previous students. Just keep on practicing those fundamental skills and exercises and then apply them to the more advanced and difficult trail situations.

I also competed in a few races during September, namely a round of the Endurocross series (in S. Carolina) and the GNCC series (in N. Carolina). My results were real average for various excuses(!) but ultimately I had a great time doing them and used them to further my preparation for the fast approaching ISDE (6-day race) in Portugal, Oct 12-17. We'll fly out on Monday the 5th but first I need to go pack my bags and head to the airport in a couple of hours for a 7am departure to Kansas City this weekend. I'll be conducting another 2-day Dirt Wise school there and then competing in one of their Forward Motion Regional Hare Scramble races on the Sunday, then quickly heading to the airport so as to get home just in time to jump on the dirty bird to Europe. Yee-haa!!!
Hopefully we'll get the time to post up some kind of a blog type of
deal during our trip there, and during the race. Make sure you check back in a another week or so.
We have few of our old style Dirt Wise t-shirts hanging around that we need to get rid of, so if you have a club raffle of charity event coming up that could use one of these as a prize, go ahead and
email us and we'll send you one out. Please give us a brief description of what the charity cause is. There's only a few shirts so be sure to get in fast.
Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for updates from Portugal...
