A Million Miles In A Thousand Years:  What I Learned While Editing My Life

Written by Donald Miller

This is one of the best books that I've ever read on story.  You will learn so much about how to write story and about the role you play in the stories you tell.  I highly recommend this one!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE FINALE

This show has inspired two of my recent blogs for "The Huffington Post."  I believe that watching the dancers and choreography on this show will inspire every type of storyteller because it is about finding your voice and expressing it in an art form.

The next Friday Night Drinks is Friday, October 1, 2010 at the X Bar at the Century Plaza Hotel at 2025 Ave. of the Stars.  There will be no Friday Night Drinks in September because of the holiday.

GOLDEN MEAN VEGAN CAFE

I love this restaurant.  I had the most delicious beet salad with pecans and strawberries.  Then, I had an almond butter panini with vegan marshmallow spread!  It was fantastic!  I hear the shakes and the coconut cake are a must.
