When we watch story and experience story, we emotionally respond to truly knowing and understanding the characters in the story. A strong story that is well told affirms our life experience. If the storyteller has the gift of shining light on who we are watching and why we should care about them, the overall experience has more value. The program is structured to keep you on track with your writing goals so that at the end of the spec portion, you will have a new spec and at the end of the pilot portion, you will have a new pilot.
