My mission this year is to help you open more doors and actualize your creative vision. I recognize that the goal of my television writer clients and so many writers in this town is to sell their pilots, get staffed, get representation or get into a writing program. It's all about knowing where you want to go and creating a road map. The following events are designed to help you reach your destination.
This year, I want you to think of positivity, possibility, potential and prosperity.
Confirmed panelists include; Kim Rozenfeld/Half Full Entertainment, Karen Horne/NBC, Scott Vila/A&E, Melissa Myers/WME, James Kearney/UTA, Ryan Ly/CAA, Debra Curtis/Sony, Paradigm, Tracey Murray/Industry Entertainment and Anne Damato/Rabiner Damato Entertainment. All your questions on staffing and development will be answered.
10% of the profits from this event will benefit rescue and recovery efforts in Haiti. In
this class, we will go over everything you need to know to gear up for
staffing and development season. We'll go over the top specs being
read right now and what makes a spec stand out. I'll provide tips to
help you be more confident about pitching your story and writing your
pilot. We will review the pilots that were picked up this year and
what stands out about them. We will also go over tips for the meeting
process.
The price of the Storywise Seminar is $110.00.
STORYWISE TELESEMINAR - 10 WEEKS TO CRAFTING YOUR TV WRITING PORTFOLIO The start date of the ten-week Storywise Teleseminar is
Sunday, March 7, 2010. This means your new spec script will be written
by April, in time for staffing, and your new pilot will be completed by
the beginning of May, in time for development.
I was inspired to create this 10 week structured course after seeing how many thousands of people submit to the Writing Programs and don't get in. I figured if they had the guidance of and commitment to a week by week structure, they could garner some of the same results provided by the writing programs. As a Writing Instructor for NBC's Writers on the Verge and former mentor for the CBS Diversity Program, I've personally witnessed the rewarding results a structured class can have on the career of the participants.
The seminar begins on March 7th and there are limited upgraded packages available offering discounted consultations and weekly feedback on your work. This seminar presents a great opportunity to set deadlines for yourself, commit to your vision and join a community that will help you reach your goals. RATES
