Happy New Year and welcome to the January Newsletter for Jen Grisanti Consultancy Inc.

The start of a new decade is filled with positive aspirations.  It is about THINKING BIG and putting a plan/goal/strategy into play.  It is a time of rebirth and letting go of what was and being in charge of creating what is.  What do you want to achieve this year?  Can you see it?  What if you start small and build from there?  The power of the mind is a beautiful thing.  If you can clear out the clutter of self-doubt, past failures and blurry intentions and clearly envision a destination, you can and will get there.  You are the author of your own story, so it is up to you to make it a good one.  I saw the movie INVICTUS over the holidays.  I loved one of the themes it explored:  How do we inspire and empower change?  For more, go to my BLOG

Today I am celebrating the 2 year anniversary of my company.  It all started with a vision.  I started small, and I am building big.  My business is up 35% this year.  I've worked with over 195 writers in television, feature films and novels.  I could not have done it without the support, guidance and referrals from so many of you.  I am forever grateful!!

My ambitions are all about moving to the next step.  This year, my mission is to get some pilots and features sold, more writers staffed, more writers represented, more writers into writing programs and more writers winning writing competitions.

GEARING UP FOR STAFFING AND DEVELOPMENT SEASON STORYWISE SEMINAR -
In this class, we will go over everything you need to know to gear up for staffing and development season.  We'll go over the top specs being read right now and what makes a spec stand out.  I'll provide tips to help you be more confident about pitching your story and writing your pilot.  We will review the pilots that were picked up this year and what stands out about them.  We will also go over tips for the meeting process.

If you buy tickets before January 15, 2010, the cost is $75.00.  After that, the cost increases to $110.00.
