OCTOBER NEWSLETTER FOR JEN GRISANTI CONSULTANCY INC.Hello and welcome to the October Newsletter for Jen Grisanti Consultancy Inc.
My themes this month are persuasion and self-awareness. What is the best way to sell your

ideas? Why do some people seem to be able to sell their ideas so easily and get further up the ladder, while others are left at the bottom? When I think about this with television and features, I often wonder what specifically happens in meetings that leads to the sell. Is it the value of the idea or is it the art of the persuader? When you look at the percentage of what works and what does not work, it makes you wonder. In the book, THE ART OF WOO, authors G. Richard Shell and Mario Moussa, Directors of the Wharton School's Strategic Persuasion Workshop, give very insightful tips on how to authentically woo through self-awareness. For more, go to my
BLOGThis television season is better than ever. As I discuss above, it is interesting to see what is working and what is not. I will stay focused on the positive and give you a list of what is working very well as a way to persuade you to watch.

RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONSTAVERN - Brentwood
This restaurant is gorgeous! The ambiance is very elegant. The food is delicious. I recommend the summer fruit salad with argula and marcona almonds and the summer squash gratin with corn, poblanos and queso fresco.
BANDERA - Brentwood
This is honestly becoming one of my favorite restaurants. I LOVE the ambiance. It has AMAZING food at a reasonable price. They have a piano player in the bar and the whole feel of the place is very inviting. I recommend the tuna poke with shrimp and avocado, the vegetarian selection and the banana cream pie with caramel and crushed chocolate. Yum!!
