Hello,

I am offering my first seminar September 20, 2008 at UCLA.  The purpose of it is to give vital information to anyone who is interested in learning more about story from the studio executive/story analysis point of view.

The seminar will cover both television and feature, and I am pleased to present Elisa Roth, Sr. VP Drama Programming, Universal Studios Media and Gaylyn Fraiche, VP, Martin Chase Productions, as our guest speakers.

Topics include but are not limited to what studios look for in strong writing, what the best television spec scripts are to write, what genres are currently selling the most in features,  the importance of spending time developing story, the best books out there on story, what to do with your script once you feel it's ready to send out, the importance of networking and cultivating relationships, and how to prepare for the writer/executive meeting.

I have received back questionnaires addressing the above topics from top television executives, agents and managers as a way of conveying to seminar participants the most accurate and up to date information.

It promises to be a very informative day.  I recommend it for writers of all levels, directors, agents, managers, agent trainees, manager trainees, executive trainees and anyone who has an interest in learning more about story.

Please forward this e-mail to anyone who you feel would benefit from this.
