Rob's featured message... Welcome to the month of September! Welcome to a new chapter of Youth Ministry at Sacred Heart, Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Holy Rosary (better known as the Tri-Community)! I look forward to journeying with the youth, their families, adult volunteers and the entire community during this year and years to come. Our goal is, with the help of dedicated adult volunteers and the prayerful support of the faith community, this ministry will be youth-owned and operated. You are a viable and valuable part of our Church!! We have lots of things planned for you now and in the months to come so keep your eyes peeled and your heart open. My invitation to you is this... "Come and See." I look forward to meeting you. Blessings! Rob Plush

The Middle School is broken into two groups-grades 6-7 and grade 8. Youth Ministry for younger adolescents follows the comprehensive model implemented by the Catholic Bishops in the Renewing the Vision pastoral plan. Ministry will include social activities, weekend retreats, diocesan rallies and opportunities for service and mission.

Confirmation 1
The journey begins!
Candidates in the first year will focus on what Confirmation is and what identifies us as Catholics. Topics will include the Creed, Scripture, Developing a Catholic Conscience, Prayer and Sacraments. In addition, candidates will participate in a weekend retreat and be given the opportunity to help with service projects and mission experiences. |
Confirmation 2
Candidates in the second year will continue to look at Catholic Identity which will include Eucharistic apologetics. In addition, candidates will process virtual scenarios for the purpose of forming Catholic-Christian conscience. A sponsor and candidate session, weekend retreat experience and Day of Reflection are also planned.
