Dan Nicholas Park Annual "Simple Living Festival"

and 5th  Blacksmith Hammer-in.

Sat. May 5th 2012, 10am-6pm,

6800 Bringle Ferry Rd.,

Salisbury, NC  Rowan County

Blacksmith and families are welcome. We have plans for at least 3 or more coal forges with anvils set up to use. Bring your favorite tools, some metal and come and demo on a forge, set up a table and sell your wares (you keep the $$), watch/help others. (we can't pay for demos.) If you have a portable outfit, let us know and bring it and set it up and hammer away. The park will have some food to eat for lunch for a small donation as at most hammer-ins. We will have a variety of other craftsman, all high quality handmade items along with a variety of other exhibits. Great music all day long, along with other activities. This is a great family park with tons of activities planned and other things to do and see in the park (a train, nature center/wild life adventure area, lake (fish/boat rides), carousel, putt-putt golf, play ground, picnic tables (pack a family picnic basket) and nature trails).

We had a great time the last several year and look forward to this year.
