Kids in tentIt's not too late to go camping!

Didn't camp much this summer?

Camping is still great in the fall and our campgrounds are still open. Value season camping rates begin Oct. 1.

River Meadows YurtThe weather is still good, there are more openings now that the kids are back in school, or how about a heated yurt or cabin?

View our facilities at www.snocoparks.org or reserve at www.reserveamerica.com if you know which campground you wish to visit.

2013 Comprehensive Park and Recreation Plan update

The Snohomish County Council is currently reviewing the draft 2013 Snohomish County Comprehensive Park and Recreation Plan. Public involvement is still possible during Council hearings onthe plan. Click here to review the draft plan and further information.

State of Washington's Discover Pass

This is a reminder that the Snohomish County park system does not accept the State of Washington's Discover Pass.

We learned in 2009 when the State of Washington's Wenberg Park was transferred to the Snohomish County park system that most members of the general public do not differentiate between state and county parks.

We honor the Washington State Disabled Veteran Lifetime Pass that entitles free parking at the disabled parking stalls at Flowing Lake, Kayak Point, Wenberg and  Wyatt Parks.

Paradise Valley Conservation Area benefits from Eagle Scout Project

Derrick Mann completed an elevated 100-foot walking/biking trail at Paradise Valley July 2012, enhancing the area for visitors.

Wellington Hills County Park
Ad hoc committee meetings and public meetings have been held to create a concept design plan for Snohomish County's new Wellington Hills County Park. The plan is waiting for County Council review and adoption.

Wellington Hills County Park is located east of Snohomish-Woodinville Road along 240th St. SE. The property is large enough to accommodate several sports facilities and recreation opportunities.

In coordination with the Parks project, Snohomish County Public Works is planning pedestrian improvements to 240th St. SE.
