Dear WA Community, We hope you are having a fun and safe summer. After today's E-News, we will have one more E-News to close the school year on Friday, June 29. We will not be emailing an E-News to our school community on June 15 or June 22. We are currently finalizing two key documents that we will send to you via the E-News and in the mail, at the end of June. 1. Celebrating God's Work at Westminster Academy (an exciting summary of the 2011-2012 school year) 2. Summer Informational Packet for the 2012-2013 school year (helpful information for next year) The PawPrint, which serves as our annual report and school year-in-review, will be published in September. As we bring another school year to an official close, we would like to once again thank you for your prayers, encouragement, support and commitment to God's Kingdom work at Westminster Academy. From the students, parents, grandparents and alumni to the teachers, coaches, volunteers and Board members, we are truly blessed to be brothers and sisters in Christ, who actively belong to God's community of believers at WA. Personally, my family and I are extremely blessed and humbled to be called by God to serve Him and you at Westminster Academy. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be a WA Lion. Blessings to you and your family in the Name of Jesus Christ, Leo Orsino Headmaster orsinol@wacad.edu |

Textbook Buyback Begins June 13
We have streamlined the textbook buyback process, by allowing parents to go online at home, beginning Wednesday, June 13. There are just a few easy steps to complete the process-please click here for more information. In the comfort of home, with no waiting lines, you can find out which books will be purchased and the exact amount, before deciding if you want to try to sell it elsewhere.
Once you have completed the online procedure, you can deliver the books to WA, and Textbooksx-will pay for the shipping.
The online book list and purchase program will be available on July 1, 2012. Please visit the school website in July. For any questions, please call Jen Casey at 954.771.4615, ext. 2485 or Brooke Miner at 954.771.4615, ext. 2551.
As always, we appreciate your feedback, as we introduce this new program.

Pathway of Excellence Brick Program A special way to capture the blessings of your child is through the "Pathway of Excellence Commemorative Brick Program." A brick can be engraved and placed in the front pathway of our school-alumni truly enjoy seeing their names on the "Pathway of Excellence." You may have your child's name engraved on it with a favorite Bible verse, special message, etc. You may also want to thank a special teacher, coach or mentor, by engraving a brick for them. A special letter will be sent to the individual(s) you want to recognize. Proceeds from the "Pathway of Excellence" will be used to support our Annual Fund, helping to close the gap between tuition and fees, and what it actually costs to provide a quality, Christ-honoring education at a school of excellence, like WA. As a special gift, parents of a senior will receive 25% off of this pricing! Please ( click here), complete the form, and return it to Susan Gaines in the Development Office. Susan can be reached at gainess@wacad.edu, or 954.771.4615, ext. 2672. |
