Dear WA Community, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those families who have re-enrolled for the 2012-2013 school year.
We are truly blessed by your ongoing commitment to Westminster Academy. As of the end of February, eighty-four (84) percent of those eligible to return to school next year (everyone, but our seniors) have re-enrolled. We are very excited to see this jump in re-enrollment. Last year at this time, 32% of our families had re-enrolled by the end of February. We appreciate everyone's willingness to re-enroll early in the process so that we are better able to prayerfully review our needs, and plan earlier than last year. This is extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.
For those who have not re-enrolled, please click here to re-enroll. If you have any questions about the re-enrollment process, please contact Jeff Jacques, director of admissions, at jacquesj@wacad.edu. If you would like to meet with me about any matter at WA, please feel free to contact Barb Carlen at carlenb@wacad.edu, or email me at orsinol@wacad.edu.
Thank you for your prayers and your timely response to the re-enrollment process.
Praise God for His people, provisions and providential blessings at Westminster Academy..
Blessings to you and your family in the Name of Jesus Christ, Leo Orsino Headmaster orsinol@wacad.edu |

If you have not purchased your tickets yet, you may purchase them at the door.
You will not want to miss this! Everyone is invited to join us for a special reception for Mr. Briggs' retirement in Fellowship Hall (Bay D), immediately following the play on Friday night, hosted by the Alumni Association. Please feel free to invite anyone who would like to honor Mr. Briggs.
About the play:
Godspell, written by John-Michael Tebelak, is a joyful celebration of the Gospel, as told by St. Matthew. It is a religious experience to be enjoyed by all age groups. The Gospel, which means "good news" is brought to life by the exuberant cast using many theatrical devices such as pantomime, vaudeville, and creative drama. The music, which is a major part of the story and production, uses many styles ranging from folk, pop, rock, and musical comedy. The main theme of Godspell is to portray the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The final segment of the play makes a dramatic transition involving the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. We hope this performance will have a strong impact upon you--the audience, and that the reality of Jesus Christ will be shown throughout.

Jazz Ensemble Performs at SeaWorld Orlando
Our WA Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Jeff Carroll, performed on Friday, February 24 at SeaWorld. Their performance was in conjunction with SeaWorld's SoundWaves concert series. Hundreds of people were able to hear the band, as they walked through the Wild Arctic Plaza. The concert was also broadcast over the SeaWorld in-house sound system. In appreciation for their outstanding performance, the band was invited back to perform at any time, and the SeaWorld entertainment division inquired about the group's availability for performances at corporate events in the future. Great job, Jazz Ensemble--for representing WA so well!
