Westminster Academy | Devoted to Christ - Dedicated to Excellence

Dr. Leo Orsino HeadshotDear WA Community,

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all those who partner with WA. We are truly blessed by your prayers, participation and your willingness to promote what God is doing at our school.

We are extremely grateful for our prayer warriors and those who take time every day to pray for the children, school community and school ministry. The most powerful and significant way to partner with WA is to pray for God to use His Kingdom workers and His school ministry in a mighty way to save souls, educate minds and impact lives for His glory and divine purposes. Your prayers really matter and make a difference in the lives and learning of our students-- thank you.

We also appreciate your participation at WA. We are truly blessed by all those who volunteer with their time and talents to encourage our students and our Kingdom workers. A special thank you goes to all of our volunteers in PTF, Booster Club, room moms, prayer moms, field trip, auction, Robotics, Fine Arts, Athletics and student club programs. Your willingness to walk along side our students and help us disciple them in Christ, is a special blessing to all of us at WA.

Another way that people partner with WA, is with their donations. Your generosity is overwhelming. We value and appreciate every financial gift that furthers God's work at WA. We cannot thank you enough for your gifts and donations.

Your help with sharing the good news of WA is also appreciated. We want all Christian families to enjoy the blessings and benefits of a covenant school education. Please continue to encourage new Christian families that you know to attend one of our Open Houses and/or visit our school ministry. We want to reach out to all of the Christian families in the area, so they too, can receive the Christ-honoring scholarly educational opportunities of a Christian school like WA.

As devoted followers of Jesus Christ, one of the greatest gifts we can give to our children is to surround them with a cloud of witnesses who bathe them in prayer and immerse them in God's Truth in all areas of their learning, as WA does on a daily basis. This prayerful immersion in Jesus Christ and God's Truth builds a foundation for life. As our children build their core for learning and understanding life in Christ and God's Truth, they will develop an unwavering oneness of intellect and faith. This Christ-honoring Biblical perspective will be their moral compass and their scholarly filter for college and life. This is why we have our children attend WA, and this is why we are so very grateful for your prayers, participation and your willingness to promote the good news of WA to others.

Thank you for your partnership. Your prayers, participation and your promotion of God's glory and His Kingdom work at WA is deeply appreciated.

Blessings to you and your family in the Name of Jesus Christ,
leo

Everyone is invited to join us for a special reception for Mr. Briggs' retirement in Fellowship Hall (Bay D), immediately following the play on Friday night.

About the play:

Godspell, written by John- Michael Tebelak, is a joyful celebration of the Gospel, as told by St. Matthew. It is a religious experience to be enjoyed by all age groups. The Gospel, which means "good news" is brought to life by the exuberant cast using many theatrical devices such as pantomime, vaudeville, and creative drama. The music, which is a major part of the story and production, uses many styles ranging from folk, pop, rock, and musical comedy. The main theme of Godspell is to portray the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The final segment of the play makes a dramatic transition involving the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.

We hope this performance will have a strong impact upon you--the audience, and that the reality of Jesus Christ will be shown throughout.
