A Big Cheer for our Competition Cheerleading Squad! Our competition cheer squad did an AMAZING job at "The Ultimate Bash Cheer and Dance Competition" at FAU on Saturday, January 21! With an amazing performance, they took 4th place. The small squad of only 13 girls including four 8th graders, competed against larger varsity squads, such as West Boca High School and Palm Beach Central High School. We are very proud of these girls and their outstanding performance, hard work and dedication. GO LIONS!

How to Become a Change Agent
Os Hillman, author of the book Change Agent, shares with Laura Bishop on "Homeroom" how each person can become a change agent to those in their community or at their job. He profiles several notable "change agents" in our current culture, as well as biblical change agents that include Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Joseph and Esther. According to Hillman, a change agent is "a person who is a positive catalyst of influence and determined to solve problems through invention and influence, which leads to great spiritual changes in nations. God's calling to a change agent may include hardship, testing, a crisis of belief, failure and grace - all mixed into a life that makes an impact."
Listen in and learn how to be a "change agent" in 2012!
"Homeroom" can be heard every Thursday evening from 9-10 PM on GRACE FM 90.3 FM, or on www.gracefmradio.com. |
