Westminster Academy | Devoted to Christ - Dedicated to Excellence

Dr. Leo Orsino HeadshotDear WA Community,

Thank you for your steadfast prayers. Your prayers help us as we answer God's call to encourage everyone to grow in Christ (2011-2012 school theme).

As a community of believers, we get to walk along side one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. As devoted disciples of Jesus Christ, we get to disciple our students in God's Truth and excellence everyday at WA.

Please join us as we wholeheartedly try to teach and model what it looks like to eagerly and earnestly grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Please continue to prayerfully encourage everyone at WA to:

  1. Saturate our students, one another and our school community in prayer. (Ephesians 6:18)

  2. Strive to demonstrate the attributes of Jesus Christ with our words, work and witness especially in adversity and the storms of life. (Galatians 5:22-26,  John 15:1-17)

  3. Seek God's leading and use a Biblical perspective along with a Christ-honoring approach to decision-making and problem-solving. (Colossians 3:12-18, Ephesians 4:1-6)

Every day at WA, I am humbled by and grateful for, the way God uses His people and school ministry to reach out to the lost, capture souls, educate minds, develop disciples, equip the saints and impact the students, school community and the South Florida culture for Jesus Christ. We are truly blessed by God's grace and His love that shines through His people and school community.

Your Gospel-centered love, prayers and Kingdom work for God's glory at Westminster Academy is much appreciated.

Blessings to you and your family in the Name of Jesus Christ,

Protecting our Students
with Allergies

We are eager to work together with parents to make sure that we provide a safe environment for each and every student in our school. We currently have students who have severe allergies to peanut products. As a result:

  • Our food service will not be serving any peanuts or peanut products.
  • All faculty have been trained to recognize the symptoms of food allergies and handle food allergy situations.
  • At the lower school level, any food items or snacks that are brought to school to share as class treats should contain no peanuts, peanut oil, peanut flour or any type of peanut additive. This request does not apply to food items your child may bring in for themself.
  • As an extra precaution, parents of students who have a peanut or other food allergy are being asked to provide their child with a snack from home on those occasions when group snacks are being provided.

Thank you for helping us provide your child with a safe environment!
