A good Friday morning to you. I pray that you are well, and that you are sensing the freshness and newness of God's affection, delight and faithfulness to you. I'm emailing you to invite you to our upcoming Orange County Spiritual Formation Partners retreat on the theme of "Embracing Abba" on Thursday, May 13 at the Center for Spiritual Development in Orange. I've included a few more details below. Twenty of us enjoyed the last Partners retreat last September. And The Leadership Institute is providing online registration for this event.  "Embracing Abba" Day Retreat

Our souls cry out for the Father's healing love! There is a void in us that only God can fill. We know that we need to rest in our Abba Father's loving arms, but... We're busy with ministry and helping other people. And maybe we hide our inner hurts and sense of inadequacy.
It's time to be spiritually renewed by "Embracing Abba"!
Together on this day retreat we'll open our hearts to God as our Papa through worship, Scripture meditation, and prayer in community. You will be prepared and helped for 4 ½ hours of silence and solitude with Jesus and the Father he reveals. Walk or sit in the beautiful gardens of the Center for Spiritual Development (resources and portable lunch will be provided). We'll conclude our day with guided sharing and prayer in community.
This retreat is sponsored by the Spiritual Formation Alliance in Orange County and is designed for people who minister to others (including volunteers).

You need to register to participate! Space is limited. The cost is $40, which covers use of the retreat center, lunch, materials, and retreat direction. You can register on The Leadership Institute website.
