Greetings!
The latest wheel to make its sensational debut in the shop is completely encrusted in coffee grounds and lavender. Sound intriguing? The truth is, this goes beyond a simple crush - we are completely enamored with Barely Buzzed! This hand rubbed delight arrives to us straight from Beehive Cheese Co. in Utah. The cheese maker looks to his brother, owner of Colorado Legacy Coffee Co. for the Turkish grind of "Beehive Blend" coffee. The addition of ground French Superior Lavender makes for an amazing blend. The rub imparts notes of butterscotch and caramel which are most prevalent near the edible rind, perfectly complimenting the full nutty flavor of the interior.

Chinook Wine Tasting
Please join us on Friday, April 11th for an evening at the shop with winemaker Kay Simon of Chinook Wines. Kay will be pouring Chinook's Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc from 6-7:30 and Quel Fromage will provide a selection of expertly paired cheeses.
While many assume that Cabernet Sauvignon is the older, more noble varietal it has been discovered through DNA to be the 'child' of Cabernet Franc & Sauvignon Blanc. Which just begs that age old question..."who's your daddy?" Cost is $25 per person and space is limited to the first 20 respondents.
