WHEN is San Marin Safe & Sober Grad Night?
San Marin Safe & Sober Grad Night is Thursday, June 16th directly
after the 7pm graduation ceremony.
WHEREis San Marin Safe & Sober Grad Night?
San Marin Safe & Sober Grad Night is graciously hosted by
ROLLING HILLS CLUB
WHATis San Marin Safe & Sober Grad Night?
San Marin Safe & Sober Grad Nightis an event put on by community and parent volunteers each year to honor the year's graduating class. The purpose of this long standing national community tradition is to provide students a safe and sober way to celebrate their graduation together. San Marin's Safe and Sober Grad is held at Rolling Hills Club, where volunteers transform the club for the graduates to enjoy...
A Casino, Parisian Salon, Nightclub with a DJ, Tattoo Parlor, Magician, Palm and Tarot Card Readers, Caricaturist, Hair and Nail stylists, The Spinrad Chess Challenge, Hypnotist, unlimited food and non alcoholic beverages and Deck and Pool games.
The kids have a wonderful time and it is a great way for the students to celebrate their high school experience with their classmates, safe and off the streets.
This year's Safe Grad Committee is a very small group made up primarily of people who no longer even have students in school in Novato, or who have graduating seniors. We have volunteered because we believe in this event and the safe alternative to celebratory "partying" it offers students, and because it really is a fun, positive evening. Most of us have been volunteering for Safe Grad since we were middle school parents. The event follows a well organized, successful format...one that has been streamlined through the years by many creative, dedicated volunteers. We need new parents to become a part of this tradition...we need YOU.
WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH THIS YEAR'S EVENT AND TO INSURE THAT SAN MARIN SAFE & SOBER GRAD NIGHT
WILL CONTINUE!
IT'S UP TO YOU!!!!
To keep this tradition alive for
YOUR SONS and YOUR DAUGHTERS!
The San Marin Safe and Sober Grad Night event will not continue
unless more volunteers step up and help out!!!
We are now in the planning stages of our annual Safe Grad event and we are in desperate need of your help.
We would like to invite ALL parents to participate!! We need 50 volunteers on site at all times during the event, and 20 to help with cleanup. Work a shift during the event, or help out with planning or set up...if you will join us and give of your time we can continue this life saving tradition.
This event is very well organized due to years of work by many dedicated volunteers...we need you to step up and help out! No matter the grade of your student there are opportunities for you to help.
PLEASE, get involved!Let's talk about what you can do...we are ALL too busy, but if we share the work no one has to be overwhelmed. Please contact:

**The DECORATING COMMITTEE Needs Your Help**
Decorating takes place on June 16th during the afternoon & evening.
No decorating experience is necessary. Over the years we have become very organized. We follow the same format and re-use most decorations from year to year. This is your chance to get involved!!
Please come to an information meeting Wednesday, May 11 at 7PM in the San Marin counseling office. Find out what needs to be done and how you can help!
We have co-chaired this event since 2008 and the more help we receive the less work there is for all! We need to recruit and train new co-chairs for future Safe Grad events because both of us have graduating seniors this year. Thank you!!!!
