| Senior/ Parent Meeting - College Application Process - - Wednesday, 6:30PM - Library
The Counseling Office and Career Center will be presenting everything you need to know about the College Application process. The presentation will begin at 6:30 in the Library on Wednesday, September 29th. Don't miss this presentation, come with your question about the application process. We will be going over the Cal State Universities, University of California and private and out of state schools application process. We will touch briefly on scholarships and financial aid but there will be an additional meeting in December. For our Community College bound students, we will be having a meeting after the first of the year about the enrollment process. In our September College Application meeting we will be covering the Community College and the transfer process.

You can still join the San Marin PTSA for the 2010-11 school year. Membership form link below. 2010-11 Reflections Program - Call for Entries
Calling all Artists!
It is time for the annual PTA Reflections Program, where you can showcase your artistic talents in six different artistic categories. The six arts areas are Literature, Musical Composition, Photography, Visual Arts, Dance Choreography, and Film/Video Production.
The theme of this year's Reflections Program is "Together We Can" Students are invited to design a piece in one of the six art areas that represents this theme. The deadline for entries is December 1, 2010. See your teacher or go to the front office for entry forms and guidelines. Entries may be submitted to the front office on or before December 1st. All entries must be the work of only one student and must be original works and must relate to the theme "Together We Can."
Student works are critiqued against other students in Grades 9-12. Entries are judged at the local, state and national levels. Winners will be selected in each of the six art categories and given Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit, which are recognized and displayed as part of the national PTA program's traveling exhibit. Participation is open to all students.

Supplies needed: Calculator and #2 pencils on test date
About PSAT/NMSQT
PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT Reasoning Test. It also gives you a chance to enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs.
