NEW TUTORING SOURCE

We want to tell you about a great opportunity to get convenient and affordable private tutoring for your student(s).

We recently spoke with Nicole Wainwright of TutorSource (
www.tutorsource.com), a free
resource designed to connect students with great local tutors. They've got thousands of affordable tutors, so you're sure to find one that fits both your schedule and your
budget.

TutorSource runs background checks on all their tutors, and your first session with any
tutor is completely risk-free: if you're not satisfied, you don't pay for the tutoring.

Check out
www.tutorsource.com  to find a great tutor today!

Rock'n Blues By the Lake -

Saturday, September 26, 2009

10 AM to 8 PM at Stafford Lake in Novato

Get Ready to Party with the B-52s this year's headliner at Rock'n Blues By the Lake.  Their unique "guy vs. gals" vocals are a trademark of the band.  This positive, enthusiastic, slightly wacky party band, has focused on songs telling tales.  Love Shack, Rock Lobster, Private Idaho, Good Stuff , Girl from Ipanema Goes to Greenland, Deadbeat Club, and Hot Pants Explosion are just a few of the trademarks songs of the band that will have you up on your feet and dancing along with the band.

New this year, special early bird ticket pricing $5 off per ticket will be offered until July 5,  2009.  Early Bird Ticket Prices are:

            Child  Ages 6-11 years      $10

            Teen Ages 12-18 years     $15

            Adult Ages 19+ years        $40

Tickets can be purchased at San Mairn High Schoolby contacting San Marin Rep (to be announced or email eNews@SanMarinHigh.org ) or at the Farmer's Market in downtown Novato on Tuesdays.  If you purchase tickets at the Farmer's Market be sure to mention you are from (school name) so we will be credited with the sale.

Other news:

·         Look for the Rock'n Blues B-52 party float in this year's Fourth of July parade.

·         Check out this year's Battle for the Stage competition, where a local band will compete to play on the main stage prior to the event headliners.   To submit an entry, please create a band profile on www.marinlocalmusic.com (see details and rules at the link).

·         Rock'n Blues Volunteers receive vouchers to purchase their ticket for $25.  Why not volunteer for a 3-hour shift and enjoy the show at a bargain entrance fee?  To volunteer, contact San Marin Rep (to be announced, or contact eNews@SanMarinHigh.org).

·         A second headliner especially geared toward our school-aged population will soon be announced.
