The San Marin Leadership Team has one opening next year (2009-2010) for a parent member who will be elected to a two-year term.
and return to Mrs. Zanardi in the school office by March 30, 2009.

A ballot containing the names and statments of all parent cadidates will be sent to every 2009-2010 San Marin family in the April/May newsletter.
LEADERSHIP TEAM
The purpose of the leadership team is to plan for continuous long-term improvement, advancement of student learning, to establish student achievement consistent with the district's long-range strategic plan, monitor programs, and to establish annually for Board approval budgeted allocations of discretionary site funds.
The leadership team also assesses program effectiveness relative to district and school goals for student learning.
The leadership team will act as a catalyst to activate school energy and resources and will direct concerns to appropriate school groups for evaluation and action.
The San Marin Leadership Team consists of 16 members as follows:
* 4 Students
* 4 Parents
* 8 teachers/certificated staff members and/or classified staff
* 1 administrator (Principal)
All terms are for two years (elections on staggered basis) except those of class presidents and the Principal.
Leadership Team meets once (occasionally more often) per month on the first Wednesday afternoon from 3-5PM. Members also participate in District workshops and meetings.
