MUSTANGS BOYS BASKETBALL MOVES ONTO SEMIFINALS
Coach Craig Pittis

The boys' basketball team had their third miracle finish in a row to keep this amazing playoff run going.

After coming from behind by 22 pts in the 4th quarter against Terra Linda to force a play in game with Marin Catholic, then winning the play in game by one point knocking Marin Catholic out of the playoffs for the first time in 16 years, the Mustangs topped that on Tuesday.

The boys' secured the first playoff win at San Marin since 1993 with a miraculous 62-59 double OT victory vs. Redwood.  Sophomore center Stuart Wesonga scored 31 pts and had 23 rebounds on the night, as senior Sean Cottrell hit 3 big three pointers and scored 15 points to lead the Mustangs to the win.

Next up is a semifinal matchup vs. 1st place Branson.  SM split the regular season matchup with Branson winning 46-42 and losing 50-40.  The game is Thursday night 7:30 (intro's start at 7:15) @ Redwood HS.

We hope everyone around during the break will be able to attend and witness this amazing run.  If the boys win, they would play in the MCAL Title Game Saturday night 7:30 again at Redwood HS.

Semifinal Game:
Thursday 7:30 vs. Branson @ Redwood HS

Championship (if they win):
Saturday 7:30 vs. TBA @ Redwood HS
