AEREIS PARENT TRAINING SCHEDULE CHANGE
 
By now you should have received letter from NUSD about the DISTRICT Homelink (AEREIS) site, which allows parents to view studentS' progress and status related information from the school database.  
 
The notice includes pertinent information about how to create and log into DISTRICT Homelink and a note about the "HANDS-ON" HOMELINK PARENT ORENTATION to be held at San Marin Library.
 
Please note that the "HANDS-ON" HOMELINK PARENT ORIENTATION schedule has changed. 
 
The new schedule is Wednesday,  October 29th, 7:00PM at the San Marin Library.  Remember to bring your Login and Password.
SAN MARIN STUDENTS AWARDED AP SCHOLARS STATUS

The AP Board honored 43 San Marin students as AP Scholars in September for their outstanding scores on last year's AP exams.
 
In addition to the 20 San Marin students who received grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams, 2 received a national scholar award for earning an average grade of at least 4 on all AP exams taken and grades of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams, 13 received a distinction award for earning an average grade of 3.5 or higher on all AP Exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. 8 received honors award for scoring an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
 
In addition to receiving an award certificate, this achievement is acknowledged on any AP Grade Report that is sent to colleges the following fall.

'NITE AT RACES' FUNDRAISING   
 
 
The Very Popular
"A Nite AT The Races" Fundraiser is Back!
 
The event is scheduled for January 24, 2009 at the Margaret Todd Center. 

San Marin All Sports Boosters (SMASB) will be holding the first "Nite at the Races" fundraising meeting on Wed. Nov. 13th @7pm in the School Lounge.  Anybody who is interested in this event is welcome to attend.  

In addition, each team (Fall, Winter, Spring) should also send a parent representative (or anyone else who is interested) to the meeting as the fund raised benefits ALL sports teams and ALL Athletes at San Marin!
