Greetings!
It's Christmas... already? It must be my age, but it seems we just celebrated Easter and now it's already Christmas. I have decided that I'm not going to let the stressors of this season dissuade me from celebrating the most precious gift ever known to humankind - a Saviour born to die and live again to save a lost world! I don't know about you but life would not be worth living if I wasn't sure of that one thing! I know that this life is not all there is... I find peace and fulfillment in knowing that any energy, time or money I invest in the kingdom of God has eternal value that I can't even fathom and I will never go wrong in following God's instructions for living. We are loved, we are blessed and if we doubt that we must remember... For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord! Luke 2:11NKJV
Thank you wonderful friends and partners for all you do in the name of LIFE! Merry Christmas and may you experience God's blessings of prosperity, health and love in the coming year! Love you all... Linda Cozadd |

God, give me a sign!
*John brought *Amy to the Eden Clinic for an ultrasound because he was fearful she had an ectopic pregnancy. She clearly stated she was having an abortion, but only came in because John was worried about her. John didn't want the abortion, but was willing to support Amy in whatever decision she made. The couple met with an advocate who professionally yet explicitly covered all the options available to them, including abortion procedures and risks. John and Amy have been together for six months, they both have new jobs and recently relocated to OK. Amy stated she does not want to be a mother. Amy was nine weeks pregnant so the visual on the ultrasound was beautiful... the baby's limb buds were clearly seen and he/she was moving all over the place. John had lots of questions and took pics with his phone...Amy cried. They left in an emotional frame of mind that day with the same plans to abort. We and our "fight for life" text friends prayed. The evening before the scheduled abortion Amy asked God for a sign - should she carry this baby? When she went to have the abortion the doctor told her she was too far along to do the procedure... they immediately left believing that was their sign from God. The interesting thing is when Amy came for a follow-up ultrasound Alison said she was not much more than eleven weeks... hmm? All I can say is that God moves in mysterious ways! Amy didn't want to be a mom and now is excited about it and John cried when he learned she was carrying his baby to term. They will be coming to PWP and are so thankful for the Eden Clinic! ~~~~~~~ Stories like this is why we exist... and what you help support! You're donations have literally help save the precious life of an unborn baby. What a way to end the year 2011. If you are considering year-end giving for tax purposes, won't you please consider giving to the Eden Clinic? It's easy to do, just click EdenPartners *name changed | |

Pregnancy Wellness/Layette Party
In our efforts to save life It is highly important that we work to sustain life as well. One way in which we do that is through our Pregnancy Wellness Program (PWP).
Many of the young women we serve have relationship issues, and little, if any, family support. They are struggling financially and unsure of their future. We take the opportunity each month when they visit us for PW to help them plan, to consider the relationship with the father of the baby; i.e. is he going to stick around? Will he be a responsible father? There are things to consider that she's not thought about such as living with her parents or living alone. Is cohabitating something she is considering? We want her to learn that following God's way is always the best way and without judgment we gently help her consider her lifestyle choices - cause and effect.
We want to ensure that she has the community resources and emotional support she needs as she becomes a mother when the challenges of parenthood begin.
This year we have seen eighteen new moms complete PW to which they received a layette and baby pictures at the layette party. We currently have ten moms-to-be still in the program. The layette (pictured above) is a large clothes basket full of new baby items... a starter kit worth approximately $150. Detta Dunnigun creates and donates the beautiful cakes to celebrate with our new moms the precious gift of LIFE at our layette party.
There is nothing more exciting than to see an abortion-minded client has not only chosen life for her unborn, but is choosing God's way and making better choices... impacting generations to come! We ask for your continued prayer that God will give us the wisdom and words to impart the hope and love of Christ to these precious lives.

You can help by having a baby shower at your church or women's group! Just call us at 579-4673 for the list of layette items. |

What Christmas is about...
Church of the Harvest in Norman is buying Christmas presents for three clients and their children of the Eden Clinic this year. They understand the hardship it can be for a single mother at Christmastime. They wanted a list from three different families and showering them with gifts for the children and for mom. Thank you Church of the Harvest for remembering single moms with children at Christmas - that's what Christmas is all about.
We want to thank all of you for the gifts you've given throughout this year, for your faithful donations and your prayers... You know who you are and so does God!
