Welcome to our November newsletter from BASS Chamonix & Parallel Dreams. We are now back in Chamonix and getting ready for the winter ahead. If you want to improve your skiing performance this season then join us. Whether it's off piste & backcountry, improving aspects of your technique, getting ready for instructor exams or just enjoying the experience of being in the alps we have something to offer..

News from BASS Chamonix

After 7 seasons in Chamonix one of our most established and popular products is our full week backcountry courses. Over the years we have tweaked the format of these courses and believe that we have a fantastic product that will either get you into the backcountry or further develop your skills.

Our Level 2 course is our most popular (see our course levels descriptor at the right side of the backcountry page). Day 1 is spent with both the mountain guide and instructor so that we get to know you and tailor the course to your individual needs and abilities. Days 2 & 3 are with the instructor developing your off piste skills and your safety awareness in the environment. Day 4 gives you a chance to practice or rest and we have found that this is a very welcome part of the week and ensures your batteries are charged for days 5 & 6 with the guide when you get to experience some classic routes around the Chamonix Valley. If a whole week seems too long then we also have our very popular 3-day off piste courses - 2 days with an instructor and 1 day with the guide.

News from Parallel Dreams

Our PDC Face2Face course in early December in Hintertux is now FULLY BOOKED. We will keep you up to date with photos and reports from this course through our Facebook page and via our blog. We also had a very successful summer/autumn season of Face2Face courses at UK Snowdomes at The Snowcentre, Hemel Hempstead and SNO!Zone Scotland, Braehead. Thanks to all our clients who made these courses such a success.

Since launching our "remote" coaching through the online training diary more and more people are starting to sign up realising that you can work on your performance between courses with the assistance of an online coach. Whether its reviewing video, identifying specific exercises to practice or developing an action plan this service is a great way to make sure that the benefits you get from our Face2Face courses are maximised.
