Kelly Funk Update

Kelly Funk & LailaKelly continues to make slow but steady progress, even speaking a few words for the first time since the accident!  This is just another step on her road to recovery.  Your continued support, encouragement, and prayers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all who took part in last Monday's "Greens For Kelly" dinner at Traders Point Creamery.  BRFM will continue to accept cash and check donations each week at the information booth and we'll keep you updated as other fundraising events are coordinated.

Vendor Profile:  Nicole-Taylor's Pasta

Pasta
Rosa Hanslits, a native of Italy, describes the fresh pasta products and family dinners she creates at Nicole-Taylor's Pasta and Market, located at 1134 East 54th Street, Studio C.

"We make fresh pasta in 22 kinds of a non-egg product that is healthy for anyone who has an egg allergy or is a vegan. It's sold in a nested four-ounce serving and is good for family members who like different flavors if they mix and match pasta. We're the only place in town that makes fresh pasta," she says.

Her husband, Chef Tony Hanslits, makes mozzarella cheese, soup and salad that are sold there.  Prior to opening the pasta shop, the Hanslitses also owned and operated Tavoli di Tosa and Tosa Euro Cafe before closing both in February of 2004.

Visit Nicole-Taylor's Pasta at the BRFM, but come early, most varities sell out.  Of course you can always stop by the store, located on 54th Street near the Monon Trail. For special orders, customers can e-mail ntpasta@yahoo.com  or call 257-7374.
