Also at the booth, you will find honey-infused soaps, beeswax candles, and bee pollen, which is rich in the B vitamin complex and, carotenes, including vitamins C and E.  Learn more about honey this week, and be sure to ask Dave for a sample.

Honey Mocha Munch

honey popcorn
This tasty snack mix is a sure winner, whether you grab this for breakfast on-the-go or snack on it while cheering for your favorite local team.  It makes a big batch, but don't worry.  It won't last long.

Ingredients
1 cup honey
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon instant coffee
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 cups popped popcorn, unpopped kernels removed
3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 cup  coarsely chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
3/4 cup almonds

Directions
Heat oven to 250° F. In small saucepan, stir honey and butter over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Whisk in cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla and salt until mixture is smooth. Mix popcorn and nuts in very large bowl. Drizzle honey mixture over popcorn; stir to coat evenly. Place parchment paper (or foil) on two large (about 17 x 11-inch) baking pans. Spread popcorn mixture in pans. Bake for 50 minutes, stirring about every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely. Store in tightly covered container.  Makes 14 cups.
