Register for Postal Discounts

This is a reminder to all saturation mailers that the deadline for registering to participate in the Postal Service's new Saturation Volume Incentive Program is August 1, 2009.
For saturation mailers that mailed in 2007 and did six mailings in 2008 you can earn a discount on new volume calculated based on your total saturation mailing volume or on a market specific basis at the SCF level.
The application process can take some time to complete. Here is the website for getting a fact sheet about the program and links to the application paperwork:

If there is any chance you will increase frequency or your geographic footprint on a total volume or SCF market specific basis, do not delay in completing the registration process.

SEND OVER SURVEYS.
I have received 11 survey responses from our members to date. I am attaching the list of companies that have responded.
I am hoping to get all surveys back by mid-June for us to do a statistical analysis.
The variety of responses I have received to date show that there are differences in what is important to our members. We truly want to design an SMC rate and advocacy program that reflects a consensus of what is in the best interests of our members in the USPS.
