 More than 8,700 nominees are currently competing for the title of Western Washington's Best. The Hair Salon category is extremely popular, yet with your support we've been fortunate enough to finish in the top 5 the past two years!  We moved up from 5th to 4th place last year and would love to continue climbing the ladder this year, but we need your help!  Please visit our page on the Best of Western Washington website to cast your vote. In other news...and speaking of KING 5...we're going to be ON the news!  That's right.  Tomorrow morning KING 5 reporter Christie Johnson will be visiting Elle Marie Hair Studio.  Why?  Because it's Pink Hair for Hope time again!  Christie will be getting her very own pink hair extension and we will be welcoming our friends from My Garden Nursery across the street to get their own pink hair extensions as well.  Christie and her team will be shooting live from the salon once each hour from 6am-9am, so be sure to tune in.  Then be sure to stop by the salon on your way to or from work to show your support for breast cancer awareness with your very own pink hair extension!!!

Congratulations "Girlfriends on a Mission"!
Elle Marie gladly supported the "Girlfriends on a Mission" team in last weekend's Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure walk with pink Elle Marie shirts, complete with a "Girlfriends on a Mission" logo.  They all did an amazing job walking 60 miles in 3 days and raising thousands of dollars (minimum $2400 each) for charity.  Great job "Girlsfriends" and great job to ALL who participated!
