Greetings!
It's been an exciting past couple months for us here at Elle Marie Hair Studio. On August 30th, we teamed with former Seattle Mariner Jay Buhner, Q13 Anchor Bill Wixey, and the Everett Aquasox to raise over $500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society performing buzz cuts prior to the Aquasox game at "Pink at the Park" day. Soon after we were notified that 425 Magazine recognized us as a Runner Up (along with Gene Juarez) for their "Best of 425" contest. In addition, we were ecstatic to see two of our own, Sarah and Hollie, tie for Runner Up for best hair stylists as well!
Now that October is upon us it means our world has gone pink...and for a very worthwhile cause. We've hit the ground running with our annual Pink Hair for Hope campaign as you'll surely begin seeing pink hair extensions popping up all over town. For just $10 you can proudly wear a pink hair extension, available in various shades of pink to match your hair, and show your support for breast cancer awareness. 100% of the proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Finally, we've been nominated once again for Evening Magazine's "Best of Western Washington" contest on KING 5 TV. Last year we edged out over 100 local salons to secure the final spot on the Top 5 Finalists page of the web site. We hope to improve on that this year although competition continues to be fierce considering the numerous trendy downtown and eastside salons, as well as salons with multiple locations and, therefore, many more potential voters. We don't need the most guests though, we just hope to have the most devoted. So, please take the time to recognize Elle Marie and click here to cast your vote. Your participation means the world to us and, as always, you can count on us to continue to provide superior customer service, cutting edge styles, and an upbeat, salon experience on each and every visit.
We look forward to seeing you soon...hopefully for a pink hair extension!
