ElleMarieHairStudio.com now features a blog! In addition to scissors and a color brush, our stylists have added a pen to their list of styling tools and will now be writing useful styling tips to keep you "hair aware" even when you're not in our chair. (Okay, that last part came out of nowhere and flowed off the tongue so well that I HAD to go with it!)
We recently received some wonderful news as Redken announced Elle Marie Hair Studio as their newest Club 5th Avenue Elite Salon! We are very excited to be among the most exclusive Redken salons in the country and are proud to continue offering our guests the finest in hair products and styling techniques that the industry has to offer.

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Everett Aquasox this Sunday, August 30th
to provide "Baseball Buzz Cuts" to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We will also be offering So.Cap. USA
pink hair extensions to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Former Seattle Mariner Jay Buhner will be on hand helping out, as will KCPQ 13's Bill Wixey who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Gates open at 11:30pm and the game starts at 1:05pm.
In addition, it's "Pink at the Park" day at the field with players wearing pink jerseys which will be auctioned off after the game to support breast cancer awareness and local charities.

Pink Hair for Hope Begins!

We just received approval from So.Cap. USA to kick off the popular fund raiser "Pink Hair for Hope" a month early. PHFH benefits the National Breast Cancer Foundation and typically coincides with October which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. When you're raising funds for charity though, why limit it? Therefore we've received our first shipment of pink hair and are excited to begin our 2009 campaign. Last year we raised over $6000, a $4500 increase from our first year efforts in '07. This year, the sky's the limit!
A pink hair extension is only $10 with all of the proceeds going to charity. They come in numerous shades of pink to add a trendy sense of style to any hair color and you can get as many as you want. What better way to show your support!
NOTE: Please keep in mind that although it only takes a moment to apply the extension, we prefer to give our scheduled guests our undivided attention. We also only apply individual pink hair extensions on a walk-in basis (groups of 4 or more however, such as a girls soccer team, are encouraged to make an appointment). So because we aren't always able to staff someone specifically for this cause, we ask for your patience and promise that we will accommodate our PHFH guests as quickly as we can.

Thank you to all who
visited our booth at the 2009 Mill Creek Festival back in July. We brought
one salon chair to offer free updos. They were in such demand that we
immediately added four more folding chairs, all of which were full all
weekend! We were beat come Sunday evening, but as usual, our 4th annual appearance was so much fun!
