| Staff Reaches New Heights |
 On Sunday, July 15th the entire Elle Marie staff gathered at Cottage Lake Park for an excercise in friendship, fear and fun. Towering over 40 feet in height, the Odyssey III Challenge Course set the stage for a day of wonderful teambuilding activities. Working together, the staff tackled a number of mental and physical challenges, many of which were based on storylines mirroring day-to-day challenges that occur in the salon. Activities began on the ground, but before long we found ourselves 20 feet up, harnessed in and dangling from wires. Teamed up we maneuvered level 1 of the ropes course, relying on each individual's valuable mental and physical strenths. One slip-up could mean disaster! Finally, we made it to the end and celebration ensued. But wait! There was still one level higher to go. For some, the fears conquered on level 1 offered plenty of satisfaction. A small group remained however and made the dreaded climb to the top of the structure. After successfully maneuvering the length of the course once more, yet at twice the height, Noah, Emily, Lisa and Jody were rewarded with a zip line ride down to the ground! It was an amazing experience, but just as valuable was the opportunity to get to know our co-workers outside of the salon in such an unique environment. We definitely left the park with a greater appreciation for the characteristics that define each of us.

| Lisa to Visit Redken HQ in NYC |
 This October one of our own is headed to the Big Apple for training! While visiting family in New York City, Lisa will take advantage of the opportunity to learn from the industry's elite at the 5th Avenue Redken Exchange and become a Redken Certified Haircolorist. As explained by Redken, the exciting program she has enrolled in recognizes and rewards haircolorists who possess exceptional technical skills and who are truly talented. Lisa has always displayed an amazing ability to excel in hair design and we are thrilled to support her in taking advantage of this opportunity.
