I guess we shouldn't be surprised that the 2007 Formula One World Championship season would end in controversy.

McLaren's protest of the lack of action taken by the Stewards in Brazil on the fuel temperature violation by Williams and BMW after Sunday's Grand Prix may lead to the 2007 World Championship being decided in the courts.

Having said that, the on-track action in this year's Formula One season has been spectacular. The arrival of a new superstar in Lewis Hamilton and the addition of two time defending World Champion Fernando Alonso brought McLaren back into the top ranks of the sport once again, challenging Ferrari's strong lineup of Kimi Raikkonen and Filipe Massa for the Championship until the very end. Hamilon proved to be the star of the 2007 season until misfortune (some self-inflicted) allowed Kimi Raikkonen (most likely) to steal away the Drivers World Championship at the last moment.

Also expected for release in mid-December is the 2007 Official FIA Formula One Review DVD ($29.99). This year's DVD will feature more than 3 hours (200 minutes total) of on track action from all 17 races in the dramatic 2007 season along with special features and exclusive on-board footage.
