Ask Jeff...
Q: What does it take to master the art of grilling at Steak Escape?
A: Grilling food to our exacting standards takes a particular mastery. You may not realize, but we don't use timers when we grill your meal. Our cast members demonstrate a real level of knowledge and care, adding meat and veggies so that they finish cooking at precisely the same time, and adding cheese so that it melts just right. Each sandwich is like a live performance for you, the customer.

The Guinness Book of World Records lists several examples of really big food cooked on a grill. The largest omelette weighed 6,510 pounds - that's three and a half tons! The largest commercially available hamburger weighed 164.8 pounds and the largest stir-fry weighed in at 2,319 pounds, 4 ounces. The official Guinness Web site doesn't list a record for a big Cheesesteak, though there are reports of a 365-foot Cheesesteak created in 1998 for a Philadelphia Eagles football game.
