 2010 Legislative Breakfast Series

The Overland Park Chamber of Commerce and the Johnson County PublicPolicy Council sponsor the Legislative Breakfast Series to enhance thecommunication and exchange of information between the business community and the Johnson County state legislative delegation. Legislators will be on hand to discuss issues and offer the most current legislative updates. All meetings are at the Ritz Charles Overland Park, 9000 West 137th Street.  Casual attire is requested. Breakfast is served promptly at 7:30 a.m.  The cost for non-OP Chamber members is $25.

While April 1 was officially designated as Census Day, the Census Bureau will continue to accept 2010 Census questionnaires by mail through mid-April.

Beginning May 1, census workers will begin going door to door to households that failed to mail back their forms -- a massive operation that costs taxpayers an average of $57 per household versus the 42 cents it takes to get a response back by mail.
 
Please take the time to send in your completed 2010 Census form.   You'll be saving taxpayer money and avoiding that expensive little knock on your door.
